Frequent Questions

Below are the answers to some questions I am often asked...

Do you do remedial or surgical work?

Yes, for many  local vets and clients.

Do you work weekends?

I do work weekends but during the winter months these are reduced, as they are kept clear for any appointments that have to be moved from the week due to the lovely English weather!!!

What happens if my horse loses a shoe?

Every attempt will be made to get the shoe back on asap, however if I am unable to get to you for some reason you will be offered the next available slot, and I do ask you to be patient and understand I only have one pair of hands!!!! There may be a small charge depending on how long since the horse has been shod.

What happens when you are away?

I have a colleague and friend who is excellent at his job, he covers the work in my absense and vice versa. I do however ask that you are patient with him and acknowledge that he is also very busy with his own work, and will fit you in at the earliest convenience.

Will I always get you to shoe my horse?

Yes you will unless I am away in which case you will get a friend of mine who is qualified and covers my work in my absense .
